Stacy Spagnardi's Lemon Sorbet

Combine 2 C sugar with 2 C filtered water in saucepan and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat to low and simmer 3-4 min.  Cool.

Add 1 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice and 1 T fresh lemon zest.  Pour into freezer bowl and turn on icecream machine till mixture thickens.

Transfer into hollowed out lemons and oranges as shown in the picture to the left.
